Bee Pay provides escrow and payment servicing for student loan document preparation and restructuring companies, and it connects directly to the CRM you already run. Payments are drafted from your client’s bank account, held in a trust account, and disbursed to your company on a daily cycle — without your firm ever taking an advance fee.

If you run a student loan servicing or document preparation company, you already know the constraint you work inside. You cannot collect a fee before the work is done. Your client still needs a payment plan they can actually keep. And your CRM needs to know what happened to every one of those payments without someone rekeying it by hand.

Here is how a third-party payment servicing partner fits into the software you are already using:

Your CRM and Your Payment Servicing Have to Talk

Most student loan companies run their entire pipeline through a CRM — enrollment, document collection, status, notes. The moment payment servicing sits outside that system, someone has to reconcile two sets of records by hand. That is where errors creep in, and errors on client funds are the kind regulators ask about.

A gateway integration removes that gap. Your CRM schedules the draft, Bee Pay collects it, and the result — cleared, returned, rescheduled — posts back against the same client record your team is already looking at.

The CRMs Bee Pay Connects To

Forth (formerly Debt Pay Pro) lists Bee Pay among its payment gateways and dedicated account providers. If your firm uses Forth’s Multi-Company or Affiliate Enhancement, a separate gateway can be configured for each company you operate.

Skywave CRM from DataCore Software Group is also a long-standing integration partner.

If you run a different platform, ask us. We evaluate new integrations when a client needs one.

What Happens After a Payment Is Scheduled

Drafts are captured in a daily batch at 2:30 PM Central. Transactions move to cleared status five business days later unless a return comes back against them. Funds belong to your company throughout — Bee Pay holds them in trust and disburses on schedule.

When a payment fails, your company reschedules directly with your client and notifies us of the new arrangement. Modifications — payment changes, name changes, schedule adjustments — are made at no additional charge.

What It Takes to Get Set Up

Three things. Your company completes Bee Pay’s underwriting. You tell us whether you need escrow, and how your fee schedule should be structured. Then your CRM provider enables the gateway against your company ID.

Most firms are processing within a few days of underwriting clearing.

A Note on the Name

Bee Pay is the new name for Payment Automation Network. Same company, same team, same escrow and payment servicing our clients have relied on for years. If your CRM’s documentation still refers to Payment Automation Network or PAN, that is us.
